When you order your Flexistretcher you will receive a full instructional booklet that outlines stretching routines for those with beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of flexibility.
In addition, we have compiled a set of online videos that provide visual instructions for our more complex stretches. While we have designed a set of advanced stretches primarily for the benefit of dancers, the Flexistretcher can be easily integrated into your current stretching program.
How to Adjust Your Flexistretcher
It's important that the straps of the Flexistretcher don't slip during the stretch, so follow these simple instructions to adjust the length of the Flexistretcher prior to use.
First, grip the metal sliding clip so that your fingers "pinch" loosely beneath the clip:

Then, pull on each piece of the nylon straps separately to attain the desired length:

General Instructions
- We recommend stretching 3-5 days each week, ideally at the end of a workout while the body is still warm.
- Ensure that the Flexistretcher is securely in position before performing each stretch.
- Gently ease into the position, making sure to avoid any sudden movements or twitches – never let the Flexistretcher pull you into the position.
- Once in the position, take advantage of the Flexistretcher's elasticity by gently pulsing against the strap's resistance. This will help build strength as you increase flexibility.
- Hold each position for at least 20 seconds. Most people do not spend long enough within their stretches, substantially reducing the effectiveness of the stretch!
- Gently release the position, feeling your body unwind from the stretch.
- The Flexistretcher is intended for all levels of flexibility so please perform the exercises to the best of your ability without any strain.
Safety and Maintenance
- Before performing any stretch, adjust the side straps to the desired length, making sure to adjust both sides proportionally (the sliding clasps on each side strap can easily be reattached if they are removed for any reason).
- The Flexistretcher has been constructed to withstand daily use by professional dancers, but please treat it with respect! Never use the Flexistretcher if the central elastic strip appears broken or frayed.
- Try to keep your Flexistretcher dry, to avoid the risk of rust on the metal clasps.
